Is there really no alternative? What are the principles that a good and prosperous future for all might need? How might those principles manifest in practice? What are some of the potential consequences–good and bad–that might arise in such a world?

This book is my answer. Or rather, it’s my answer so far. I expect the specifics will change, but I expect the principles will remain the same.

Within this book you will find, not a blueprint or a demand, but an enticement, a possibility underwritten by strong principles and well-tested processes.

I do not expect this book to depict the future. But I hope very much that the future we get is one very much like it.
